It is said that Giuseppe came up with this gravy recipe on Christmas Eve, 1956,  the night his brother Angelo married Penny. The wedding reception was held in downtown Sioux Falls, at the Cataract Hotel, but Old Doria and Giuseppe made arrangements to cater the food from Angelo's.
